Jessica Mordecai
Science/Geography
Jessica Mordecai is originally from Pennsylvania. She graduated from Syracuse University with a B.A. in geology and anthropology. She moved to Utah 8 years ago to attend school at the University of Utah, where she received her M.S. in physical geography. She began her career as an educator at West High in Salt Lake City, teaching 9th grade Earth Systems Science and 10th grade AVID. She really enjoys showing students that science can be fun! She currently resides in Salt Lake City with her husband Aaron, a helicopter pilot. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys climbing, camping, and hiking in the Uinta Mountains with her 3 dogs.
