Lisa Rampton Halverson has been a teacher of English for 10 years, teaching in Palo Alto, California; Ellettsville, Indiana; Orem, Utah; and in the Eastern European capitals of Prague and Bratislava. She received her Bachelor and Masters degrees from Stanford University, studied in Israel on a Fulbright Fellowship, and thinks the best summer of her life was participating in the Folger Library’s prestigious “Teaching Shakespeare Institute” in Washington, D.C. She and her husband Taylor live in Springville, Utah, and are the parents of one son, David, adopted at birth two years ago. In her free time (if there is any!), Lisa likes to read, write, travel, train for triathlons, and sing silly songs to her son.
